Name: Mikie Rowe

Role: Senior Consultant

Hometown: Wexford, Ireland

Current Club: Galway United

College Education: Young Harris College, Georgia

Degree: Business Management

Mikie is a former student-athlete, having spent four successful years with Young Harris College.

The Wexford-native won two conference championships, three conference tournaments, a regional title, and was also part of the Young Harris side that played in three National Tournaments. Mikie graduated with a degree in Business Management, and went on to play professionally in the U.S. for two seasons with Tormenta FC before returning to Ireland to sign for Galway United in the League of Ireland.

Mikie’s recent first-hand experience as a student-athlete will give our clients further insight into what life would be like for them, and his role as a soccer scholarship consultant will see him recruit clients to come through our system, where we will help place them at college in America.

“My aim as a scholarship consultant is to use my own experience to give first hand advice and guidance to players pursuing the American route. It’s a route that combines full time football while pursuing a college degree and it’s a route that doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s now my job to educate players and their families on the possibilities and opportunities this route provides and I am confident in saying that going to America on a soccer scholarship is the best decision any player will ever make.”
