SMUSA Scholarships are delighted to confirm details for the 2022 Showcase, which will take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland in December.
After a hugely successful inaugural Showcase in 2021 - where we had over 20 college coaches in attendance - we are pleased to announce that we'll be heading back to Midgley Park on Tuesday 20 December.
Our showpiece event will once again be Live Streamed on YouTube for college coaches across America to tune in - with over 100 watching last December.
The Showcase will be open to only network members, so if players are wanting to play in this yearly event, start the scholarship process as soon as possible.
Talking about the announcement, SMUSA Director Stephen Murray admitted he is excited to be returning to Belfast at the state-of-the-art facility outside of the national stadium.
"With our second showcase coming up in Belfast, on Tuesday 20 December, we are really excited to build on the success of last year's event, where we had over 20 coaches in attendance along with current clients recruiting for their universities also.
"As a company, we feel that we provide the best exposure for our clients to play in a Showcase event that is not only attended by coaches, but can also be seen by coaches live on YouTube.
"We have a fantastic reputation throughout Ireland and feel that based on referrals from previous clients/parents gives us the edge over anyone else competing in this industry.
"So much of our success with placing clients is based off the Showcase event which is why it's so important to play in it, as recruitment for coaches will usually be based off the most present footage you have.
"With our Tour to Florida in March it also gives our players the opportunity to get to know each other and take part in a competitive game which will help them integrate on the USA Tour both on the pitch and off it."
